Physical Therapy is the treatment of disease, injury, or deformity by physical methods such as massage, heat/ice treatment, physical modalities and exercise rather than by drugs or surgery.
In our office, we perform Physical therapy to help to strengthen the area around your injury. This will help you get back to what you love to do faster as well as help prevent re-injury of the area.
Our physical therapy patients include accident victims. And individuals with disabling conditions such as low-back pain, neck pain, disc herniation’s, shoulder pain and other joint conditions.
Dr. Harley Bofshever places a strong emphasis on exercise; especially for patients who have been immobilized or who lack flexibility, strength, or endurance. More advanced exercises focus on improving strength, balance, coordination, and endurance. The goal is to improve how an individual functions at work and at home.
When you arrive at our office, Dr. Harley Bofshever will take a thorough history, and an evaluation of your entire body including posture and biomechanics, the range of motion and joint mobility to find out the cause of pain or disability. He will then discuss your treatment options and goals so that we can customize a treatment plan catered to you.
